When browsing around the internets, you tend to come across some sites that are handy resources. From guitar tabs to digital camera reviews, here are some websites I highly recommend.
Guitar Tabs and Music News: Ultimate-Guitar.com
I use Ultimate Guitar as my main source for guitar tabs as well as up to date music news.
Motion Graphics News: Motionographer
A good site for the latest happenings and inspiration in the realm of motion graphics.
Digital Camera Resource Page: DCResource.com
This is the only site I would ever use for digital camera reviews. Jeff Keller, the reviewer, uses very thorough and consistent tests so that you can see how cameras really compare to each other. His reviews are also the most honest that I've ever seen; even his favorite cameras are not without their "cons".
Photojournalism: Zombietime
Photojournalist "Zombie" documents many San Francisco area protests on his website. It's both shocking and humorous to see what goes on at some of them. Witty comments help keep the otherwise serious situations pretty lighthearted.
Movie Reviews: Rotten Tomatoes
My only source for the latest movie reviews. Ratings are derived from the average of many different critics scores, giving a much more accurate compilation review.
Coupon Codes: RetailMeNot.com
Have you ever felt out of the loop when you see the "Enter Coupon Code Here" box when doing some Internet shopping? RetailMeNot is a website devoted to categorizing the coupon codes for almost any online retailer you can imagine. Definitely check this site out before you hit any "Submit Order Now" button.
Vector Logos: Brands of the World
This site has been a handy resource whenever I needed to do some culture jamming. The site hosts vector-based logos countless companies. Very top quality.
Font Resource: DaFont.com
A great website for find high quality fonts that aren't of the traditional flavor. Many of them are license free, too.
Web Design Tutorials: W3 Schools
The best website I've found on learning html, css, and many other web design tools. I wouldn't pay for a web design class before checking this site out first. Very well written articles and tutorials.
